In this exercise, first listen to the question

男（おとこ）の人（ひと）と女（おんな）の人（ひと）が家（いえ）で、パーティーの準備（じゅんび）をしています。
The man and woman are preparing a party at home.
男（おとこ）の人（ひと）はこのあと、何（なに）をしますか。

F:あと３０分（ぷん）くらいでみんなきちゃうよ。
F: Everyone will be here in 30 minutes.

M:わかっているよ。
M: I know.
そっちの準備（じゅんび）は終（お）わった？
Have you finished getting ready?

F:うん、料理（りょうり）はもうできてるよ。
F: Yes, the food is ready.
飲（の）みものとおかしは？
What about drinks and snacks?
あと、おはしとコップも出（だ）しておかなきゃ。
We still need to set out chopsticks and glasses.

M:ビールが冷蔵庫（れいぞうこ）に入（はい）っている。
M: The beer is in the fridge.
おかしはリンさんが買（か）ってきてくれるって言（い）ってたよ。
Rin said she'll bring the snacks.

F:ジュースも入（い）れておいたほうがいいよね。
We should prepare some juice too.
じゃ、おはしとコップをお願（ねが）いします。
Please take care of the chopsticks and glasses.
ジュースはわたしがやるから。
I'll take care of the juice.

M:わかった。
M: I know.

We were too busy to clean and do the laundry.

F:部屋（へや）のそうじはあとにしよう。
F: Sweep the room last.
ねえ、スーパーへ買（か）い物（もの）に行（い）きたいんだけど。
Hey, I want to go to the supermarket.

M:せんたくを先（さき）にしたほうがよくない？
M: Wouldn't it be better to wash the clothes first?
午後（ごご）から天気（てんき）がわるくなるって言（い）ってたよ。
I heard the weather will get worse this afternoon.

F:そうなんだ。
Oh, is that so.
じゃ、いそがなきゃ。
Then let's hurry.
あ、お皿（さら）はあらっておいてね。
Oh, please wash the dishes now.

M:やりたくないことは全部（ぜんぶ）ぼくなあ。
You always make me do the chores you don't want to do.

F:いいから。
Never mind.
早（はや）くあらうもの出（だ）して。
