い形（けい）　・な形（けい）　＋名（めい）　＋ほど

「～の程度（ていど）が進（すす）めば、その分（ぶん）…の程度（ていど）も進（すす）む。」

「As the degree of ～ progresses, the degree of ... progresses correspondingly.」

例：

1. 物（もの）が増（ふ）えれば増（ふ）えるほど整理（せいり）が大変（たいへん）になる。

The more things you have, the harder it is to keep them organized.

2. 本当（ほんとう）にいい家具（かぐ）は時間（じかん）がたつほど価値（かち）が上（あ）がる。

Truly good furniture increases in value over time.

3. 休（やす）みの日（ひ）は多（おお）ければ多（おお）いほどうれしい。

The more days off I have, the happier I am.

4. 町（まち）がにぎやかなほど商店（しょうてん）では物（もの）がよく売（う）れるのだ。

The livelier the town is, the better things sell in the shops.
