Part 1: Introduction to adjectives
There are two types of adjectives:
- い-adjectives (Aイ): Adjectives that end with い.い.
- な-adjectives (Aナ): The remaining adjectives, plus the exceptions to い-adjectives: The remaining adjectives, plus the exceptions to い-adjectives
Examples:

Part 2: い-adjectives (Aイ)

VD: きのうは とても いそがしかったです。
I was very busy yesterday.
Part 3: な-adjectives (Aナ)

VD: しんかんせんは とても べんりです。
The bullet train is very convenient.
Part 4: ~は どうですか

|
☞ | When modifying a noun, the adjective is placed before the noun, keeping い/な unchanged.
どんな stands before the noun to ask about that noun’s qualities or state. The phrase A + N functions as a noun. |

Part 6: とても/あまり~ない
