This is a way of speaking that expresses what the speaker is certain is correct.
① 渡辺さんは時間が守れない人だ。今日もきっと遅れてくるに違いない。
Ms. Watanabe is someone who is not punctual. She will surely be late again today.
② 山本監督の映画ならきっとおもしろいに違いない。
If it's a film by director Yamamoto, it will surely be interesting.
③ あの公園の桜はもう散っているに違いない。
The cherry blossoms in that park have surely already fallen.
This expression is similar to「はずだ」but while「はずだ」expresses a firm conjecture based on calculation, knowledge, logical reasoning, etc.,「に違いない」, as in example ④, expresses a conjecture in an intuitive manner.
④ 彼を一目見て、親切な人{Oに違いない/×のはずだ}と思った。

「XはYに比べて/比べると・・・」is an expression that indicates the conclusion drawn after comparing X with Y, and the content in the latter clause often expresses some degree. You can also use the expression「~より」as a replacement, and the meaning of the sentence does not change.
① 今年は去年に比べて春の来るのが遅かった。
Compared with last year, spring came later this year.
② 電子辞書で調べたことは紙の辞書に比べると記憶に残りにくい気がする。

(1)「XはYものだ」is an expression used to express the nature or tendency of X. In spoken language it becomes「もんだ」.
① 人は変わるものだ。
People always change.
② お金って、なかなかたまらないもんですね。
Money is hard to save, isn't it?
Because this expression states a general truth or tendency, X cannot normally be a word referring to a specific person or thing, such as a proper noun.
x田中先生は変わるものだ。
For negative cases there are two expressions:「~ものではない」and「~ないものだ」, the former has a slightly stronger negative nuance than the latter.
③ 日本で日常的に使われる漢字は2,000字以上ある。1年や2年で覚えられるものではない。
In Japanese, the kanji used in daily life number over 2,000. They are not something that can be memorized in one or two years.
④ 甘いものは一度にたくさん{食べられるもんじゃない/食べられないもんだ}。
One should not eat too many sweets at once.
(2)「~ものだ」also has another usage, different from the usage expressing nature/tendency described above; it is used to express an ideal state or behavior that ought to be done. This meaning is close to「~べきだ」.

「だって、~もの/もん」is an informal expression used to give a reason, explain or justify, and it emphasizes that the speaker regards their reason as legitimate. Because it is colloquial, it is not suitable in formal or polite situations.

Why do you keep looking at your phone?
...There's nothing to do.

As these examples show, 「XだってY」 is not limited to expressing something contrary to expectation; it can also emphasize that Y applies even to X.
