先月(せんげつ)、わたしも、母(はは)も、旅行(りょこう)に　行(い)きました。

Last month, both my mother and I traveled.

わたしは　四国(しこく)に　行(い)って、美術館(びじゅつかん)を　見(み)ました。

I went to Shikoku and visited an art museum.

母(はは)は、北海道(ほっかいどう)で　きれいな　花(はな)を　見(み)ました。

My mother saw beautiful flowers in Hokkaido.

わたしは、おみやげに　絵(え)はがきを　あげ、母(はは)から　おいしい　おかしを　もらいました。

I gave a picture postcard as a souvenir, and my mother gave me some delicious sweets.
