◎ Represents that a matter holds true in two or more situations or locations.

1. ここには、電車（でんしゃ）も　バズも　ありません。
    Di sini tidak ada kereta maupun bus.

2. かれは　べんきょうでも　スポーツでも　クラスで　いちばんです。
    Dia yang terbaik di kelas, baik dalam pelajaran maupun olahraga.

◎ A particle that represents a contradictory conjunction.

1. 安（やす）いですが、とてもおいしいです。
    Murah, tapi sangat lezat.

一日（いちにち）じゅう

◎ The「じゅう」in「一日じゅう」means "throughout the period of time." This is also used in other expressions, 「今年じゅう（All of this year)」「今週じゅう(All of this week)」「一年じゅう(Throughout the year)」and so on. When attached to terms that indicate location, it means "in all places relating to this location."
